Hempward Farms is a family run business in Boulder, Colorado. We specialize in creating high quality CBD products for horses, humans, and dogs. We are a soil to shelf farm, meaning we grow the hemp that then goes in to our final products, and we as a family are part of the process every step of the way.
We at Hempward Farms are more than just a company, we really are a family. You might notice throughout our blog that the authors will all share the same last name Ward. This company began with my parents, Tom and Jana, and an idea. CBD was suggested for one of Jana's horses during recovery after a major surgery. There was doubt, but that doubt was quickly replaced with awe in the effectiveness that CBD had. Jana was able to replace all other prescription medications for the horse to CBD. We were sold. My dad, Tom, then decided to convert some of our fields from growing horse hay to now grow hemp. We as a business grew from there, and my parents brought in more members of the family including myself.
Our family all have different educational and professional backgrounds which give us a uniquely well rounded understanding of our products. We would like to share some of our tips, tricks, successes and failures with the hope that you can learn something new to incorporate into your daily life.
