CBD Infused Smoothies!

Smoothies give us powerful nutritional benefits on their own, but by adding CBD we are able to supercharge those recipes and unlock their endless benefits!

CBD oil is popular with individuals seeking natural remedies. Many people notice positive effects on their pain, anxiety, and depression. CBD can also be used to boost energy levels. From pet owners who give it to their furry friends to world-class athletes and practically everyone in between, CBD has improved the lives of users everywhere. Next time you use CBD, change it up by infusing it into a smoothie for a tasty treat!

You can let loose and create whatever flavor bursts you desire! CBD oil can be blended in with any mix of ingredients you would normally enjoy. Give your infused smoothie a boost by adding other powerhouse ingredients such as honey, acai, chia seeds, or cinnamon.

How do you add CBD to a smoothie? It’s easy!

You can make your smoothie with whatever ingredients appeal to you, then simply add your desired amount of Hempward Original CBD tincture and blend for another 10-15 seconds or until it’s fully incorporated. Remember, the amount of CBD used can differ from person to person, so we recommend if you're a new CBD user to start slow in your dosing. As you increase your dose you can add more CBD oil to your smoothies as well.

Here are four of our favorite CBD infused smoothie recipes:



Strawberry-Banana Smoothie

Ingredients:

½ cup frozen strawberries

1 cup frozen banana, peeled

1 cup soy milk (or milk of choice)

4-5 ice cubes

1 teaspoon honey (said to have antioxidant, antibacterial, and anti-inflammatory properties)

Instructions:

1. Blend the strawberries, banana, soy milk, and ice cubes until smooth.

2. Add the honey and CBD oil and continue to blend.

3. Pour smoothie into tall glass or to-go container and enjoy immediately!



Berry Superfood Smoothie

Ingredients:

1 frozen banana, peeled

½ cup frozen strawberries

½ cup frozen blueberries

½ cup frozen raspberries

½ small avocado

1 cup plain greek yogurt

½ cup almond milk (or milk of choice)

1 tablespoon honey (said to have antioxidant, antibacterial, and anti-inflammatory properties)

1 tablespoon chia seeds (can contribute to heart health)


Instructions:

1. Blend the banana, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, avocado, greek yogurt, and almond milk until smooth.

2. Add the honey, chia seeds, and CBD oil and continue to blend.

3. Pour smoothie into tall glass or to-go container and enjoy immediately!


Piña Colada Smoothie

Ingredients:

1 frozen banana, peeled

½ cup frozen pineapple chunks

½ cup pineapple juice

¼ cup coconut milk

½ cup ice

½ teaspoon ground cinnamon (can protect against inflammatory and cardiac disorders)

Instructions:

1. Blend the banana, pineapple, pineapple juice, coconut milk, and ice cubes until smooth.

2. Add the cinnamon and CBD oil and continue to blend.

3. Pour smoothie into tall glass or to-go container and enjoy immediately!


Peanut Butter, Chocolate, And Banana Smoothie

Ingredients:

1 frozen banana, peeled

1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk

1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

4 large ice cubes

2 tablespoons unsweetened chocolate powder

2 tablespoons creamy peanut butter

1 tablespoon chocolate chips

Instructions:

1. Blend the banana, almond milk, vanilla extract, and ice cubes until smooth.

2. Add the chocolate powder, peanut butter, chocolate chips, and CBD oil and continue to blend.

3. Pour smoothie into tall glass or to-go container and enjoy immediately!
